Jason’s tenure in the restaurant business spans more than 25 years. His talent for cooking regional food in the Pacific Northwest has earned numerous awards including the James Beard Award Best Chef Northwest, Food & Wine magazine’s “Best New Chef” and Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 under 40”. His first restaurant, Crush, propelled him as an innovator in modern cooking styles and a leader in fine dining, both locally and nationally.
Chef Jason opened The Lakehouse in 2017, a Contemporary Northwest restaurant in a Modern Northwest Farmhouse setting. At the same time he opened Civility & Unrest, his craft cocktail bar and lounge presenting a speakeasy feel and serious approach to the exploration of cocktail culture. Jason recently led operations as partner and culinary director at Fire & Vine Hospitality, overseeing 10 different locations of Pacific Northwest iconic restaurant brands and locations.
As general manager of The Lakehouse Bellevue, Chris LeRoy brings a deep understanding and respect for the restaurant’s farming partners. When he isn’t in the restaurant, he is tending his own farm in Carnation, WA and frequently showcases his herbs and flowers on the restaurant’s bar menus and in the decor.
Chris was part of Fire & Vine Hospitality for nearly 15 years at El Gaucho Bellevue and the former Seattle-based Troiani. He briefly left to help open and lead the bar at Il Terrazzo Carmine’s Bellevue location. Since the June 2017 opening, Chris has managed The Lakehouse bar program and was eventually promoted to assistant general manager. In October 2019, he became general manager for both The Lakehouse and Civility & Unrest. He is known for his hard work ethic and his love of numbers. He was a Theoretical Math major at the University of Washington and brings a unique blend of data analysis and dedicated guest service to his role as general manager.
“Live your dream” and “share your passion” are some of Lauren Scully’s guiding words from the Holstee Manifesto. As sous chef and pastry chef at The Lakehouse Bellevue, she says that it makes her proud when guests feel the heart and passion she puts into the preparation of her food.
Lauren graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in business administration and then went on to graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris with a Diplôme de Patisserie. Prior to joining The Lakehouse, Lauren was the pastry chef at Michael Mina’s RN74 and joined The Lakehouse in May 2017 as part of the opening team. She loves the creative freedom that the culture and The Lakehouse provide.
As event director at The Lakehouse and Civility & Unrest, Anna Meindersee embraces each opportunity to transform every client’s vision into reality. Anna is a Pacific Northwest native and grew up in Vancouver, WA. She is a graduate of Washington State University’s Hospitality Business Management program and was selected as the WSU delegate to the Young Hoteliers Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland which included top students from around the world.
Upon graduation in 2018, Anna joined Fire & Vine Hospitality as part of the company’s internship program, excelled in her role on the private dining team and was brought on full-time. In January 2020, Anna was promoted to event director for The Lakehouse and Civility & Unrest. Whether planning a special celebration or an important business event, Anna is dedicated to making it exceptional.
